I always hated Jazz, found it nauseating. Now that I'm learning guitar I'm starting to appreciate it.

In fact there's no such thing as 'jazz', since they're so many styles & influences.
I like cool, bebob, most free jazz and tropical jazz like the one below.

I see. Definitely good stuff there. I worked for a guy (when i was young) who  mixed Roxymusic demos for the album. In his studio the music  sounded so much better then you can ever imagine. He had the best Equipment available at the time. And the mixing board he used was from Sting. The price on that board was 1000000$ back then.lm not kidding.
Music is just  the greatest things we humans have. So much more that can be done, for a very long time.
The best part of music is that there is something for everyone!

When they get too experimental, or when it sounds like everyone is playing his own tune, it's over for me.

I'm always in for some acid jazz. Cuban and Brazilian jazz is nice too.

I even like ragtime, dixieland, swing and big band. But my absolute favorite is more groove and funk.

I fully agree with experimental jazz, though it requires master skills to play in a band like that. At first sight, I saw a young Theo van Gogh in that video.
