I've zero sympathy… none. These five “boys” (Michael Ray, Theo Rae, Cole Worthy, Jakub Matusiak, Makai Saddington) decided a TikTok joyride, wrong-way driving on the A66, and baiting police was worth the content. They smashed head-on into a marked armed-response police car. Result: all five of them dead, plus two officers (PC Matthew Blades and PC Tom Clough) who were just doing their jobs and never made it home. One of them was already posting high-speed chase videos for likes. Same toxic trend that just wiped out five more teens in Ireland last week. Reckless choices, deadly consequences—for themselves and for people who didn’t ask to be involved. Actions have outcomes. No tears from me…

For the incident in Ireland, rather than seriously asking how we got to the point where this behaviour was allowed to escalate, the government turned on TikTok. TikTok didn't steal the cars, drive them the wrong way down motorways or fail to enforce the law.
