Our neighbours gave us a bag full of rhubarb a couple of days back, as they grew too much. Last night my wife made a rhubard crumble and from a few observations it was something like this:
1. Rhubarb & blueberries sauteed in butter and caster sugar in a small frying pan
2. Topping made from crumbling flour, sugar, butter together and then she added some almond granola cereal and broke up some walnuts by hand (not shells lol)
Once the top was browned in the oven I had this with a drizzle of double cream and it was fucking amazing.
The granola and walnuts made the crumble topping a lot more interesting
