If it's on top of the motor, there is no need to drain the oil.  The black cylinder is threaded into the brass riser.  You need to unscrew it.  Get a wrench for the black canister.  You will also need a wrench to support the brass riser.  The last thing you want to do is crack the riser. 

Any auto store should have the oil pressure sending unit.
