Kai should have just stepped in front of Phil and made his point that way.
No... Kai followed the rules and stood where the dots told him to stand. We'd be shitting all over kai if he pulled a 2013 Phil and stepped up a foot. Kai stood where he was TOLD to stand - and couldn't make a front lat spread without hitting phil, he was TWO FEET closer to Kai than he was supposed to be.
Phil did it with the side tricep pose, took a big stide back and looked at ground with smirk while he did it. Very prepared move.
He could bump Kai and throw him off his game, or he could get him to square up and get him moved. Win-win. Problem is, he had to break rules to get it.
I bet a lot of athlete would do very well in their sports - if they could take free throws 2 feet closer. Or play on an 80-yard football field. Or run out of bounds whenever convenient. Or just move a few feet closer on penalty shots. But it doesn't mean they can do it. Phil didn't follow rules, he moved into kai's space.
