I will say this about The Mayor, he has been a big fan of Craig Richardson's for a very long time and was always very complimentary when meeting him at the shows.
I remember one time he watched one of the Battle For The Olympia dvds and noticed that we had made a Craig t-shirt. He and about 3 of his friends approached us at the NY Pro many years ago and asked if they could buy such a t-shirt. I told him we didn't make them for sale as we only made up a few (I mean I love Craig but how many people would actually wear his shirt? This is a rhetorical question) but if he gave me an address, I would mail some shirts and autographed photos.
Well sure enough, after he received the package I sent, he sent me a very nice thank you note.
Maybe you guys bust his chops a bit but he is a very nice, friendly and well mannered person.
The other thing is, he is a real fan. He doesn't hide his enthusiasm for the sport. He does recognize the sport's problems, talks about them with other fans and accepts it as part of the sport. He loves bodybuilding like all of us here. He just may be a bit more demonstrative and possibly a bit eccentric in the manner in which he displays his fanaticism.
I think the "higher-ups" in the sport should pay more attention to the fans.
