if you've been around for a few decades, and seen all sides of things, then you know what effect longterm *stimulant* use can have upon the dentals of people.
We're not talking a caffeine pill or daily starbucks. We're talking about a decade of 3-4x ECA daily or adderall or the "meth mouth" that many people get. Nothing really disgusting about their mouths - they might still brush daily - it's just a quickening breakdown and aging of their mouths (usually triple the usual rate) that comes from the chronic dehydration and other effects of heavy stim usage. Skin, face, teeth, they just get small and weak and when they're 32, their mouth looks 64.
it's nothing against the person - DLB is the 2nd greatest physique in the sport and a gorgeous gal. But she's been competing at the top levels of bodybuilding for a decade.
I predicted she'd retire this year and focus on her brand, her seminars, etc - she has probably hit that point of no return and it's time to slow down on the stims and other things that are required at the top of BBing. SHe has amazing genetics and was a total knockout at 24, we'll all agree. But the sport does age a person (no flaming).
Win the ASC and gracefully 'take a little time off to focus on meeting my fans and spreading the fitness word'.
