This is not evolving. Communication and asking permission is the way to make a relationship work. If my women like my beard and tell me to not shave it I will not shave it because I care about what makes her like me. I expect the same from her side.

You have to be a smaller girl with a somewhat leaner face to pull it off. I think they look great when it can be done. Not saying it is better then long just different. Saw a pic of my wife with shorter hair when she was a freshman in college and looked super cute so been trying to get her to cut it short at some point. She doesn't want to as she has been growing her hair out for a long time now so would take awhile to get back to its current length. Oh well. No biggie. I like both.
