Wouldn't hit it. She has Herpes.
There's a difference between "America's richest self made woman" and "America's richest self made women".
It's just a letter, dude.
GM, GS, it's only money, dude.
One's cars, silly.
But the thing is, she doesn't even have that money. This is sort of like how Forbes proclaimed Jay-Z and the Olsen twin billionaires years ago, under the assumption that they would continue to earn at a rate that equaled their best years. The valuation for the company is based on the amount of money raised during funding rounds, but those funding rounds dilute her stake in the company. Also, she's one of five founders. I think she will make a decent chunk of change off the company when it goes public, but that number is probably going to be closer to $10-20 mill.
These net worth estimates can be highly flawed with celebs who love to spend money like it's the end of the world anyway.
It was like years ago when People magazine was talking about Jessica simpson as a billionaire when her company was approaching a billion in sales. When in reality she sold her name to the company for a fee and makes a small fraction in royalties. Still good money, but she'll never be even close to a billionaire. It's all hype.
Agreed. And when you see some of these "billionaire" clowns spending $200k a night on drinks and dinner for themselves and their "posses", and also making bad "business deals", you just know it's a matter of time before you start hearing about them having "troubles" eventually.http://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2015-05-28/why-jay-z-s-tidal-streaming-music-service-has-been-a-disaster
