In '82@123,Lamar Gant deadlifted 5.18x bodyweight. This WR still stands. (Iirc)
In '88@132, he DL'd 5.17x BW. This also still stands. (Iirc)
The '82 DL's the longest-standing WR in powerlifting, one of the longest in sports.
Truly the two greatest deadlifts  lb for lb ever, all the more amazing for being 6yrs apart.

Though the huge poundages that some of the previously mentioned are mind boggling
That a human body can lift such amounts regardless of body weight.

I maxed out  at 330kg raw

Impressive. !!!
What bodyweight were you.

When I was competing my friend pulled 325 @ 90k back in 83.
It stood as a world u23 record until just a few yrs ago.

Sadly for me deadlifts were the poor lift compared to squats & bench.
Anatomically my leverages are not great for the lift.

Did you use to have to etch your post into a rock and have a pterodactyl fly your posts to the people on your forum?

MUCH more impressive - not opinion - fact... 55 less lbs of bodyweight..

That 901 was 4.095 X body weight.  But his 859.8 at 198 was 4.34 X body weight.
Lamar at 132 was in another galaxy, scoliosis and all.

Google Vince Anello,Lamar Gant, and Joe Spack just to name a few who were better deadlifters.

Iron History 101 kiddos!!

Anello was great!  Franco C. was quite the powerlifter too.

That Lamar dude is so fucked up in proportions that it's not even fun.
He makes maybe a half of normal range of movement. Maybe.

Obviously the Benedikt Magnusson deadlift comes to mind. The seemingly did it at ease, no struggle whatsoever to lock it out:

However the Ed Coan 901 at 220 is more impressive to me. Sure, the fact he only weighed 220 is amazing but what is even more impressive is that this lift came during a full meet i.e. after already maxing out on squats and bench. Consider how fatigued the lower back and legs would be after a max attempt on the squat and then think about pulling such a weight. This fact is very often not considered when single lift records are discussed.

Wearing suits negates the lift IMO.

we said raw, like "no-belt kind of raw". All the fuckers you named lifted with a belt. KK still holds the world record for a raw, no belt, deadlift. 101 powerlifting history, you immortal stud  :D
