Scarface is one if the greatest movies of all time. The story, the message, soundtrack by Giorgio M., the cast of characters, etc. Unbelievable movie. You guys have no taste.
Off topic, but really loved Carlito's Way. Pacino is one hell of an actor.
I love Scarface, but Carlito's Way is an all-time favorite. Back when DePalma still had chops. And screw you anti-Costello critics. He sounds exactly the way my SoCal ass wants a Bostonian gangstah to sound: "You recall ahh little chat ... little boys? Suckin' on their peckas, etc., and so fawth."
Fight Club grew on me (Inception, too, later). The book was SO good, it didn't hold up at first (same with Green Mile, which still doesn't). Love it now - even the author thinks Fincher outdid his book. I do like Citizen Kane as well, mostly for how it changed narrative structure. Can't sit through GwtW or Lawrence of Arabia, though.
Not sure how Dark Knight Rises is rated, but I f'n hated it. First time Nolan let me down. And I'm the only person I know that thought the original Old Boy was cheesy as hell.
