Ace of Spades cover.

Anslemo nails the vocals.  Wish he did the whole song.

Lighter fare. The Swedes like their classic and/or hair metal.

The new Metallica stinks.

Not that I’d ever buy anything new from them ever again, mind you.

The first four and that is it. Forever.

Great tribute to one of the greatest metal singers (or singers "period"), and one of my favorite albums of all time.
Heaven & Hell is amazing...

If Dio were alive today, I would bet he would be grinning watching this

What's the deal with Slipknot's new stuff? Last album was shit. This is shit. Might as well rename the band as their style has no resemblance to the early days. Maybe his voice has gone and they need easier songs to sing live.

Huge Mercyful / King fan here. I bought "Dont Break the Oath" when it came out back in 1983/84 or so, and was hooked.
That shit still stands as some of the best progressive type playing ever...  I saw King in 1988 with Flotsam (when they still had Newstead pre-Metallica for him).

Tim Hansen (Mercyful Bassist) is one of my faves (RIP).

Same. Bought the album based on the cover art alone. Wasn't disappointed. Loved the riffs and arrangements. Sounded evil as fuck to me at the time.
