Come on man.
I know functioning drug addicts who have made decent coin and a millionaire (or two) who've worked for less than stellar pay.
Not sure what you mean by this. Some get rich being criminals some don't. One is bad another is good.
Once money is no longer an issue then you can be motivated to do things for reasons other than money
Most of here have earned more than Mother Teresa but that doesn't mean we're more successful. Kim Kardashian is famous and rich, as is the cast of Jersey Shore and/or any other reality show, in real life that means very little.
True. But I, not do think anyone is, is criticizing Mother Teresa. I don't know much about the Kardasians or Jersey Shore as I've never watched the show but if any of them are donating time and money to charities I would not criticize it.
Remember, it's one thing to make fun of Mike as being so narcissistic and flexing for the camera. Hell, I was making fun of that. He's a bodybuilder and a model and it comes with the territory and it is shallow and vapid. Especially for a guy closing in on fifty. But when guys like Scott claim that they can determine what's in his heart and criticize him for doing charity work then I call foul. No one knows what motivates another person to do what they do. Often one doesn't know what motivates him to do what he does. All we can know is what they actually do. If a person does a good thing then it's a good thing. I'll leave it to God to determine what the reasons are.
You rightly say we don't know his intentions but neither do you.
Exactly. Which is why I judge him by his actions. Specifically, in this case, his going to visit children with disabilities.
As far as him being a good guy..... it is what it is. For every person who likes him there's one who doesn't, that's life. It's also life when you're judged by your actions of claiming to be an advocate of a steroid free body and attribute your build to a brand new supplement (duck embryos! Really?) that has a retail cost of $500.
It still bothers you that bodybuilders, and all professional athletes lie about their steroid use? It's part of the game, brah. If you really have real ethical issues with it why do you even follow the cult?
And I don't really have a huge issues with promoting supplements. I have never read that Mike attributes his physique to his lastest supp.
I mean, you'd have to be pretty naive to believe that considering he had his physique before any recent supp he endorses.
I am a big believer in supplements and spend hundreds every month on them. I educate myself and I'm able to read between the lines on their claims. Any out right lies will make them liable and many supp companies have paid for that. When Muscle Tech claims that one of their products will put on "Up to twenty pounds of muscle in a month". That can mean twenty pounds or zero pounds.
As in all things sales let the buyer beware.
Most here also talk crap about Piana who pulls the same type of public social media stunts as OHearn, admits to his steroid use. Let's remember it's getbig, where everyone is a loser except the person who is making the latest post.
True, but remember my issue is when a person is doing a good thing, like doing charity work. I am not going to criticize Piana if he is donating time and money to a charity and claim that I know that he is motivate only by selfish reasons.
