I still can't figure out that guy's angle? The appeal with the judges. He's not schomeliscious and he's not blowing anybody, nor does anybody want to be blown by a gargoyle. He's is popular here in Hawaii with the gym rats. I was just told last week, "Never count out Branch." They like him because they think he is macho and comes across like a kick ass, no nonsense mofo. I don't know. Maybe it's just a throw back of the current trend where the sex symbols are more like pretty boys than the guys who were more traditionally handsome than pretty and that actually had hair on their chest like Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Robert Redford.
But that doesn't explain the judges. Maybe he's the token non-homo in the bunch. Throw a bit of ugly up there to mix things up and keep it diverse friendly. I mean, as long as he's in condition -- and he always is.
