Being realistic, I would be surprised if Trump won simply because for years now society has chosen their path and it's been a bad one. I expect for us to continue to spiral downwards unfortunately.

IF he wins the nomination, it'll be the weakest candidate since Mondale, and my "win by 40 state" prediction will be true.

Still, it feels like the GOP will find a way to release the delegates.

he's not too easy on the eyes.   Also he sat on a couch with pelosi and told us global warming was manmade.   

Also, he sat down with Clinton and gave amnesty to millions.   

Aside from that, he seems like a good breakfast companion, the kinda guy who could inspire you over some eggs to have a great day.  He DOES have that gravitas (like jeb has, like gore has, like Dole has, mccain too), that dignified approach and doesn't smile to make everyone feel good.   Rubio wants to please everyone - newt does not.  DOesn't give a single fck if you like him, but can retain dignity at the same time.   It's what we want in a president actually.

Trump HIMSELF has confirmed the coup.


Donald Trump on Saturday accused Jeb Bush of mounting a convention coup against him, after reports that Republican delegates who don't personally support Trump are looking for ways to avoid voting for him this summer.

"By the way, Jeb is working on the movement, just so you understand," Trump said to supporters at a rally in Las Vegas. "Jeb is one of the people that's working — and the other one should be obvious," he said, though he didn't elaborate further.

Earlier at the rally, however, Trump echoed the Republican National Committee and said the reports were a media hoax. "It's all made up by the press, folks. It's a hoax," Trump said. "This is a story — who are they going to pick? I beat everybody. I beat the hell out of them."

Several reports this week indicated that at least 30 delegates hope to change party rules next month to take away delegates who are pledged to the presumptive nominee, but who may not personally support him.
