I don't understand what this basic internet argument is all about but I'm an individual who believes that everyone is basically honest, so I believe that those photos are really 8inch and almost no one would go through the effort to post a photo of someone whom they are 'not".
If it ain't 8 ... some persistent GetBigger will do some research on those shots and come back tooting his horn ... as W.C. Fields used to say. (Or was it Mae West who said that?)
8, In those smaller shots you have a somewhat similar build to a young Berry De May whom I knew and personally worked with many years ago when he was at the peak of his bodybuilding career.
Give me the year on that one, Mr, fogarty. I'm too lazy to look it up.
Then after the passing of many years I'm attending some Olympia get together and I hear a loud voice call out my name and I turn around to see Berry looking just about the same as he did years ago ... same face and still in decent shape.
I met his family (daughter?) and friends and one of the competitors he prepped for the Oly and did the usually meet and greet stuff and talked old time stories for a few minutes before we had to depart.
Berry is one of the better individuals, among many, within the bodybuilding world and his memory of names and the years gone by really impressed me.
The top old-time individuals whose memory still impress the shit out of me are Berry, Zane, Pearl, Gaspari, Labrada, and Pete Grymkowski.
I wish we could all gather together with a couple of other old timers and write a book or make a movie or produce a Broadway play
Or something ike that.
