I just want to point out how fragile wellbeing is. The turn in life can come anyday anywhere...people dont know how fragile they are before shit happens...

No shit sherlock. The word for that is called tragedy, and people unfortunately go through it a few times in life.

You're the brightest crayon in the box I can see.

fluctuates wildly in matter of hours sometimes minutes

Thats hard living! Feeling like that. I know the feeling! its like "Fuck shit I cant take it anymore, Im gonna die"  Then some time later its ok...then back and fort...cant plan anything, cant do anything...need to live with that shit. Try to Ignore and do the shit u gotta do, does work most of the time...

Most people dont go through it before they break up with their wife in the late 30ies...and I think most people dosent go trhough it at all actually...and those who are going through it often have someone to support them, friends, family, girfriend, boyfriend. Not many are dead alone with thier problems...

Varies, used to be a minus 50, no shit, now it could be 1, 5 or 10. I am even with a 5, when I am 10 I am going to get burned out or compacent. Need 1 once in a while to get me going and 5 is when I am cruising along.

I have learned that a guy like me has to be slightly broken at all times to keep mostly fixed

i think for some people life can never ever be 100% perfect and when one piece falls into place another falls appart soon after and it's impossible to be in a completley good place mate. This has been my experience also it's as if life is trying to balance it out and gives with one hand yet makes you pay the price for it soon after.

I once had all the time in the world, enjoyed my life but was considered a bum from my peers. Now I have a soul sucking job but it pays 6 figures. My peers consider me a success but I have lost most of my time, and much of my enjoyment. Can't have it all, so enjoy the simple things.

I'm white, so I start out at a 5. (White privilege)

Full head of hair = +1
Live in America = +.5
Short (5'8") = -1
Not Fat and Healthy = +1
No Problems with Females or Money = +1

So 7.5 currently.

Your health and finances are most important for your well being.

The main things that go against your well being are:

1. Marriage/children
2. Divorce

Both of which lead to...

3. Being poor
4. Stress related health problems

Conclusion:
Do not get married or have children.  Pretty simple stuff.

It's funny how you keep stating subjective matters as absolute truths.

Not absolute, but I always consider the odds and stats.

If the stats/odds/laws are stacked against you, don't play.

marriage has been a clear positive in my life.

(decided not to have kids because the school year doesn't jive with our lifestyle.)

I'm happy for you.  There are some good women out there, but they are a minority.

I get that angle.  No risk, no reward though.

And I seriously doubt the stats say children make most people miserable.

It's not the children per se, it's what the woman can do to you with children when divorce enters her mind.  Child support and alimony costs a fortune these days.  Also, she can shack up with another man, get money from him and use your support/alimony money anyway she pleases.  Ouch.

The divorce laws are stacked against men... the reward is not worth the risk... for me.  Maybe for you they are... more power to you sir.

True on the divorce laws.

But, to each his own.....I can easily see how each side works for different individuals.
