Where you raised by a single Mother?
The reason I ask is, being raised by a single Mom and around singles Moms, it’s logical that you will have grown up with vaguely positive sense of socialism… because the state has always been “your daddy”

No, I grew up in with BOTH a loving mom and dad.
In fact, my dad was a WWII Navy vet who was stationed on the USS Coral Sea during the summer of 1945.
I served active duty USMC and have a strong belief in personal responsibility.
I already posted in a previous thread my balanced votes for R and D since 1980.
In my opinion, your the refusal to accept my personal conviction for a Hillary vote, is a problem.
I assume we've never met or talked and yet you seem to think you "know" how my mind works.
In my humble opinion , this know it all attitude, reeks of :

In my opinion, many Trump supporters have a blind spot when they refuse to understand the other side.
AGAIN, you don't have to AGREE with me, to understand "why".
My 1st wife ( ex) had that problem.
For example, she wanted to have kids, 2 years into the marriage. I never wanted kids .
I understood and accepted her desire to be a mom .
She never understood my desire not to be a parent and thought I needed "help".
She had a real blind spot to my side of the situation.
So we got divorced within 18 mos and I didn't have children with her or any other woman.
