You fucked up, Democrats. How you fucked up. Sanders was your chance to win over poor white people and disgruntled Independents. You went instead for Clinton, the race-pandering Party elite candidate. You persuaded the entire Party to support her, got the media to run slavish articles about her, and completely scoffed at her primary opponent while he was bringing up the issues dear to the poorest people in this country. Clinton may yet win by a slim margin, but states that might have flipped blue are staying red for decades, giving you an intractable Republican House and Senate majority. There was an easy way to avoid this. It was so easy. It was so obvious. There was a candidate with massive rallies, appealing to both genders, all colors, religions and sexual orientations, who championed the poor against the wealthy for decades. Those poor people are voting now. They're hurting and they needed a savior. Sanders was that savior to them. He was denied to them, and now they voting for the false savior Trump.
