Acknowledging that we (the U.S.) are wrong and wanting this over and to never happen again is not traitorous.  Traitorous is remaining silent in the face of grave injustices.  In the long run our aggressive behavior towards the world at large is in NO way making us safer.  I fear at some point the world is going to rain down hell on us.
