Tax payers will pay $50-100 Billion to build it, it will create 10s of thousands of jobs that are essentially welfare for work programs, Trump will take credit for "creating" jobs despite the fact he had to pay to make it happen and Trump Inc will be tied to one of the concrete companies and will make a 10s of billions from building the wall.

Trump should have multiple tunnel collapsing machines run up and down the border wall. Put Ground-penetrating radar on the machines. Have a special unit of say 50 people just working on collapsing tunnels up and down the border. Machines like the one below may work...

Chicago, Detroit, etc are like literal war zones because the cops are basically told to do nothing.

Police hands are not tied. That's silly and absolutely false.

There is a definite problem with the military being used as a police force. They are to battle external enemies. That is their mission. They are not a police force.

We already have a problem with police over reach, you want to extend that to military?
