Between gasoline prices and VP Kamala Harris' polling problems, don't be surprised if the press secretary announces next week that the DoJ is going to investigate the 2020 election results to see if President Trump should be returned to the Oval Office. Yes, it's been that kind of a year for President Biden. I get the impression that he can't wait to go back to Delaware for real.

The latest from the "Everybody hates Kamala" show is that the VP's staff is jumping ship. It started a couple of weeks ago and now the Washington Post has developed the story further:

I should add that this lady did not make it to the first primary. Kamala and Beto, the two early flops of the primary. I mention this because the people in this article pegging her as the future of the Democrat Party must have been smoking something bad.

It sounds to me like we have a people management problem here. It reminds me of a few people that I've worked for in my life. I had one boss who worked you to death, but you loved to be on his team. Why? Because you knew that the guy would take care of you and support you all the way home. On the other hand, we've all had a boss who worked you to death and you couldn't wait to submit your two-week notice. Why? Because it was all about him and you were just a pawn along the way.

I get the feeling that VP Harris' managerial style reminds me of that office where everyone was talking to a recruiter during the coffee break.

Kamala Harris is a 'bully,' former staffer tells the Washington Post
SF Gate ^ | December 6, 2021 | By Eric Ting
Posted on 12/6/2021, 4:02:31 PM by

A week after several high-profile departures from the office of Vice President Kamala Harris, the Washington Post published a larger story on Harris' management skills based on interviews with "18 people connected to Harris."

The Washington Post reported that "one consistent problem" staffers referenced was the fact that "Harris would refuse to wade into briefing materials prepared by staff members, then berate employees when she appeared unprepared." It was this phenomenon that prompted a particularly biting quote by an anonymous former staffer.

"It’s clear that you’re not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work," the staffer said. "With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you’re constantly sort of propping up a bully and it’s not really clear why."

Networks Skip Trouble in Kamala's Camp
Townhall.com ^ | December 8, 2021 | Tim Graham

Source: Townhall Media

In the last week, alarms started going off about Vice President Kamala Harris facing an embarrassing staff exodus by her communications team, including well-known strategist Symone Sanders. By Saturday morning, Dec. 4, The Washington Post reported on the front page that this morale problem "reignites leadership concerns." How can she take over for Biden?

The Post buried the edgy point right off the front page. "Critics scattered over two decades point to an inconsistent and at times degrading principal who burns through seasoned staff members who have succeeded in other demanding, high-profile positions."

Anonymous ex-staffers who worked for Harris before she was vice president complained she refused to peruse briefing materials prepared by staff, then berated them when she looked unprepared.

The hot quote from behind the wall was this. "It's clear that you're not working with somebody who is willing to do the prep and the work. With Kamala you have to put up with a constant amount of soul-destroying criticism and also her own lack of confidence. So you're constantly sort of propping up a bully and it's not really clear why."

Network coverage on ABC, CBS and NBC? Zero.

A search of cable news found nothing on MSNBC, and one two-minute discussion with Post reporter Tyler Pager that Saturday morning on CNN -- at 6:42 a.m. You mostly hear about this on conservative media (Fox, Newsmax, OAN).

The syndicated TV gossip show "Inside Edition" reported the hot quote about Kamala, the soul-destroying bully on Monday as they reported on her attendance at the Kennedy Center Honors show. Their top story that night was "Butt Lift Surgery." But they're doing more thorough White House reporting than ABC, CBS and NBC.

As things have turned sour for the veep, with one poll putting her approval rate at 28%, the networks have aerobically ignored negative news. Instead, two networks touted Harris getting her booster shot on Oct. 30. On Nov. 6, ABC's Zohreen Shah reported the Earth-shaking news that Harris "lit up her home in bright colors" for the Hindu festival of Diwali (puffing her double-minority biography, that her mother came from India). The networks dutifully reported her sober statements after the trials of Kyle Rittenhouse and the killers of Ahmaud Arbery.

On Nov. 19, they all reported the "historic" factoid that Harris was the acting president for 85 minutes as President Joe Biden had a colonoscopy. And the Dec. 2 "Today" on NBC informed the nation that Doug Emhoff, the first Jewish spouse of a vice president, lighted the "National Menorah" near the White House.

The only real scrutiny came on Nov. 18, when ABC's "Good Morning America" aired a prerecorded interview with Harris that lasted six minutes. At the end, George Stephanopoulos asked touchy questions about tensions between Biden and Harris and said that some friends think she is "underused." She gave a droning nonanswer. The "PBS NewsHour" offered a brief story on that exchange, adding, "The White House denied any tensions." The other networks did nothing.

Even ABC's "World News Tonight" skipped that part. But on the night before the big interview aired, anchor David Muir offered a scintillating tidbit that the vice president discussed how "bringing internet to all corners of rural America will help countless families."

These networks celebrate Harris as "historic," which translates into trying to cover her career in Bubble Wrap and protect her from the kind of scrutiny reporters usually apply -- even to white Democrats. She's a heartbeat from the presidency, but any notion that these outlets are all about reporting skeptically on all powerful people is daft.

Kamala Harris Dismisses Criticism of Her Job Performance: ‘Nothing Easy’ About VP Role
breitbart.com ^ | 12/13/2021 | Simon Kent
Posted on 12/13/2021, 1:04:55 PM by rktman

Vice President Kamala Harris addressed both her growing army of critics and sinking approval ratings in an interview published Sunday by citing the burdens of high office, claiming “there is nothing about this job that is supposed to be easy.”

The San Francisco Chronicle aired the vice president’s observations from an exchange conducted last week.

In the report Harris chose to simply ignore her many failures since achieving office while carping that her critics simply do not understand the difficulties involved in discharging her duties.

“There is nothing about this job that is supposed to be easy,” Harris pleaded. “If something is coming to me, it’s because it needs to be addressed and because, by definition, it’s not going to be easy. If it was easy, it would have been handled before it comes to me,” the 57-year-old former California senator added.

Harris was twice offered the opportunity to address whether she would have done things differently if given the chance, choosing to ignore the question entirely even as her approval ratings and those of President Joe Biden tumble, as Breitbart News reported.

It's almost like she isn't qualified for the job.

Surprised?

Nope!

This is what happens when we elect people via popularity contest like in high school.

You get this.

Yeah, but she wasn’t even popular. Couldn’t even muster 1% in the primary.

Yeah, but she wasn’t even popular. Couldn’t even muster 1% in the primary.

I predicted that Biden would pick Val Demings or Tammy Duckworth, both minority females.  Had he done so, either one could've ascended to POTUS after a Biden resignation and have a better chance in 2024 than Harris.

She is "black" and female.

That's why she was chosen.

I guess popular was a bad term for me to use.

Notice how she makes excuses instead of being humble and just admitting she doesn't know how it works.

Nothing is ever her fault.

Harris says Biden administration 'didn't seen omicron coming'
The Hill ^ | 17 December 2021 | CAROLINE VAKIL

Vice President Harris said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Friday that the Biden administration “didn’t see omicron coming," referring to a coronavirus variant that has rapidly made its way across the U.S.....

...Harris, however, defended the Biden administration’s response to COVID-19 amid concerns from health officials who worried that the president may have claimed victory against the virus too soon, telling the newspaper “we have not been victorious over it.”

“I don’t think that in any regard anyone can claim victory when, you know, there are 800,000 people who are dead because of this virus,” she told The Times....

Kamala Harris admits there is a 'level of malaise' two years into the pandemic and America 'wants to get back to normal' - drawing comparisons to Jimmy Carter's infamous 1979 speech

We agree Kamala !
