He's a longtime (former) friend of Trump and and also a friend of Michael Cohen.
I heard him on a show a couple of days ago saying the both Cohen and Allen Weisselberg are cooperating with the Southern District of NY (Weisselberg has limited immunity) and that he thinks the SDNY will take down Trump with RICO

Interesting that this interview in this video was done a couple of months before the Mueller report came out and he correctly predicted that Mueller would not be able to prove collusion with Russia (though of course the the report did say that Trump welcomed and allowed help from Russia which in and of itself is shameful and pathetic, even if Mueller couldn't prove a conspiracy)

He seems to have also pretty much nailed the mindset of Trump and Trumptards in this interview
