This. Recession is inevitable. If not 2020 then very soon.

I've pulled out, bought some silver and waiting for shit to hit the fan.

Unwise move.  Better to keep your money in a low cost, S&P 500 Index fund, and keep putting money in it often, rain or shine, for a very long time (7-20 years).

Housing prices has been climbing, and not at rate of wages, or GDP. Not only in the US but all over the world. So alot of people are in too much debt.

But I think one of the biggest reasons for US resession and will be for Europe, Australia, Canada etc. It is the rise of China and India. Globally they are taking a bigger piece of the pie.

See here, China and Indias climb from early 00's

Why do you think Trumps focus is trade wars with China  ;) ...but he should start taking a look at India aswell

btw. take a look of how strong Germany was under the lead of AH. Quite amazing when compared to popluation numbers.

China's GDP is based on whatever those secretive commies decide to disclose.  Their books are cooked.

A Recession just means you’ve come too far too fast and you need to take a step back to take two steps forward. It’s not the end of the fucking world.

To some of us, a recession just means opportunity.

ask Mr. Orange, the economy is GREAT! Therefore, put all your money into any of the chosen Trump stocks. He'll take care of you.

It’s the best economy we’ve had in a long time. My tech biz has been fantastic. I’ll take Mr Orange over Mr Black anytime. Obama was a freaking idiot regarding the economy. So was Bush Jr.

For the first time in US history, a decade will pass without the country falling into a recession

In every decade since the period immediately before the Civil War, the US economy could be relied on to do one thing: tumble into recession.

But the American economy is on pace to defy that trend for the first time in nearly 170 years as it enters the 2020s.

The 2010s would be first time a decade has come and gone without the nation falling into recession, which is commonly defined as two consecutive quarters of contracting gross domestic product.

Fourth quarter 2019 seems on track for growth, so the earliest one can claim we’re in a recession
(2 straight quarters of contraction) is July 2020; after that, Oct 2020.

The left are running out of time to cry economic doom and gloom.  We’ll get a recession at some
point, but I don’t know when.

My 401k is up well over 50% since November 2016.  These are great times.  ;D

No clue, but it sure feels like it. My hope is that if the economy does falter, Trump signs some sort of infrastructure bill that gets spending on roads and bridges. Those projects take 2-4 years which would allow the construction industry to ride it out. My retirement has fucking boomed under Trump.

Won’t affect me. I’ll shift my company to working bigger government and sports/entertainment projects. Two industries where budgets are always big.

XFactor, how did you get into this? I thought you were an enterprise sales executive. Would like to hear about your career trajectory and any relevant study if you don't mind sharing.

Today I bought a serving of potato salad at the grocery store deli. Maybe about the size of your fist. $4.27.

The end is near.

That's a great business.  Dynamics, SAP, or other?

We are a Microsoft shop too to bottom, specifically Dynamics 365, NAV, and AX. We do a lot of complex integration work into SAP/Oracle. project sizes $200k-$5mm. Sports and entertainment is such a fun part of my business. Those are typically accounts I’ll take on with one of my Global Account Managers. Obvious reasons  ;D  example, it’s getting cold in Toronto and I’m working in Florida this week working with the PGA Tour and Dolphins.

I started there, moved into VP of sales then managing partner. We have 130 employees now. Startegic initiative this year to get to 170 by year end 2020. Being an owner comes with a lot stress and long hours. The payback is massive though.

I’ll make a suggestion to anyone on here.  If you can get yourself into software sales, learn and practice a very methodical sales process you’ll create a comfortable life for you and your family.

Dynamics 365 is the shitte right now.  Good for you.  So are you the sales guy, the software developer, the project manager, or something else?

Hawaii has been costly to live on for decades.  Unless things have really changed, pretty much everything needs to be imported, hence it gets expensive. It was when I lived there years ago.  Be well, brother!
