I didn't want to reply to this thread until you shared your goodness in it, Kwon.  :)

I generally buy fights - basically because I want to support those who produce my entertainment, and to prevent from having problems on my computer, such as viruses, but I am "owed" a few fights, as far as I am concerned: in 2017, I bought the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match TWICE for a total of $198 CAD [$4.92 USD], and BOTH paid streams failed!

So I ended up having to stream it from a bootlegged source online!  And it worked.

That happened a couple of other times - not full stream failures, but partial failures.  So...I'm owed a few free fights because of that, and I'll take this one tonight.  8)

PS - great quality stream!  You probably found the best one online here.  :)

This is about the worst main event I've ever seen but the co main might be as good as one I've seen. It's rare to see a fight this bad. People pay for this "crap" because it consistently delivers.

Best womens fight ever followed by the worst mens ever, both Romero and Adesanya should be ashamed of themselves. UFC should cut Romero and hopefully Adesanya gets beaten by Costs next time out, guy calls out Jon Jones on the back of what, the guys a legend, you just put us all to sleep through your first defence and ran more miles than a marathon runner whilst doing it.

I thought the main title fight was pretty average!

No real disappointment.

Also - do you guys have poor long-term memories?  ;D  JK.  But lest we forget:

I didn’t count the punches but they essentially went 3 rounds without fighting.  They were warned by the referee to fight at the beginning of the 4th round I believe that they need to fight but still never really engaged much.  It may not have been, but it looked like a fixed fight.  I didn’t watch the women’s fight, could care less about it.  Did see the end of the ring interview and the Chinese girl looks juiced up and the polish girl looked like an alien.

Good points all around.  I guess I was too busy posting ABOUT Yoel Romero on Facebook to actually watch the first few rounds, lol.  Here:

[any Getbiggers, feel free to add me]

For Dan Miragliotta to tell them to start fighting was kind of funny, lol.

I understand that fighters need to stay active when one of them is in the guard position, or presumably when they are in the clinch or otherwise locked up...but since when do fighters need to engage?

I don't recall anyone asking that Thompson or Woodley to start fighting.

I can't remember if it was one or two judges that gave Israel Adesanya 49-46.

How could we say that Adesanya won four rounds if both fighters were inactive for three rounds?  Lol.

I didn’t watch the women’s fight, could care less about it.  Did see the end of the ring interview and the Chinese girl looks juiced up and the polish girl looked like an alien.

While I admit that even the smallest female fighters would be tough...I suspect that at your strength level, it's hard to be intimidated by these women, and therefore not as exciting to watch.

For all the bragging McGregor does about having knockouts in three weight divisions, WHY does that matter?  The only thing that matters is what he has done in the HEAVIEST weight division...he talks like that as if any 185-lb'er couldn't knock him out.

I'm not sure if that's what you were getting at about the women - how they not being as strong as men makes them less exciting to watch.  Correct me if you didn't mean that.

Yes, I watched the ring interview.  I made a Facebook post about that too - how she mentioned the Coronavirus, lol.

https://www.facebook.com/matt.canning.1238/posts/216740356182885

It honestly made me wonder if the Chinese government is encouraging its athletes to speak about China containing the Coronavirus when competing in athletic events internationally.

The ref won't need to tell Costa to "start fighting" when he faces izzy Azalea!

LOL...after Costa beat Romero, he said that he was looking forward to fighting the "skinny clown" Israel Adesanya!

I thought he said skinny clod, but both are funny, haha.

Talk about battle of the body types.  Paulo is jacked!  No idea how he manages to compete without blowing up the USADA lab, but if I had to guess, USADA probably doesn't do as much testing on international competitors.  Brazil is a dump after all, with over 50,000 murders each year.  Typical disgusting multicultural dump.
