But I honestly got to say that I'd really enjoy meeting any GetBigger who has served in any military unit (domestic or foreign) who has has a bullet or a mortar or a rocket fired in their direction or has lost some vital body part while doing so.

I'm saying this because I'm presently involved in a military crisis program that is attempting to reduce the 222 suicides a day by US active military personnel and veterans ..... one of whom was in my old, war torn unit and failed to show up for a 'Grunt Gathering' because he was one of those 222.

Let it just be said that ... When you're part of any unit whether it be a group such as this GetBigBoard or the Corps, or the US Army 101st .... when a member dies ... you'll always regret that you had didn't meet over a beer or two before he/she checked out for the duration.

But the individual confirmed it at 222/day.

So I was still doubtful and went on the net an found the suicide figure at 22 per day which is considerably lower than 222 per day.

But that 22 suicides per day was as reported in 2017.

So someone is seriously wrong regarding today's yearly suicide figure or .... the suicide number had jumped extremely high since 2017.

I'll be requesting some stats at our next meeting. I'm new at this so I might be the one who is in error.
