I loathe Schwarzenegger now, but...

1. Conan the Barbarian
2. The Terminator
3. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
4. Predator
5. Total Recall
6. Eraser (Underrated film. Young Vanessa Williams :-*, James Caan, and James Coburn. What else needs to be said? The only minuses were the bad CGI alligators and obvious Arnold stuntman parachutist.)

Loved Conan 1, Terminator 1 and 2, Predator etc

and of course Commando, Red Heat, Raw Deal and Total Recall


Even Arnolds stinkers had their charm

Red Sonya with Brigitte, Conan II (The Destroyer) etc

Even his movies outside of Top 5 were enjoyable, such as Running Man and True Lies.

Schwarzenegger's best role was when he played Lou Ferrigno in "Streets of San Francisco".

This is how I rate them -

1) Commando - Not the best storywise, etc...., but the best blend of comedy and action he ever did. I have a real soft sport for this one, it was one of the first dvds I ever bought.

2) The Terminator

3) T2

4) Red Heat

5) The Running Man

6) Conan, The Barbarian - He nailed this. Charles Bronson and Stallone were considered for Conan too, shocking to think about now.

7) Total Recall

8) The Predator

---------> The rest.

I honestly don't thing I've sat through a Schwarzenegger film since "End of Days".

Commando had the best 1 liners of any movie I've ever seen.  Plus you had a prime Rae Dawn Chong! :P  If I would have known Alyssa Milano would have turned out the way she did I would have been rooting for Bennett.

It's treated like a random American C-movie from the 80ies.

And yes, "The Thing" is a total treat from the golden era of horror... one of the alltime classics that can, in his own way, stand next to Alien.

Yes, The Thing was one of the first Horror-movies i ever saw! 

What a great movie made by Carpenter!

Loved both Thing and Escape from NY with Russ Kurtell.
