I see both sides of the argument. But taking emotion out, KISS was pretty bad ass in the 70's. Were they satanists? Did Ace's guitar catch fire and float off?. Hindsight, so cheesy, but that's not an honest way to look at them. In the day, Rock and Roll and Night, Shout it out Loud, God of Thunder, Shock Me, Beth, etc... legit songs. The fact their reunion tour was the highest grossing tour that year speaks for itself. Yes, they jumped the shark after that, but they did what they do good enough to still be in the news 40 years later.

Loved the band in the 70's. I still like Ace & Peter. These 2 can fukk off and die though.
Which is a shame, Gene was my music idol when I was a young kid, the reason why I picked up a Bass in the first place at age 11.
I saw 'God of Thunder' live on a concert (what was that pay TV shit called, like when they showed Evel's Grand Canyon mishap)?

Anyways, I did the reunion tours in 1996 & 1998 and that was fun... Reunion and Psycho Circus.
