The rate of sea level rise has more than doubled from 0.06 inches (1.4 millimeters) per year in the 20th century to 0.14 inches (3.6 millimeters) per year from 2006–2015.

Real Estate prices are comparable to what they are in the Portland Metro area according to Zillow and Redfin. The cost of living is 30% higher than the national average in Portland while in Palm Springs, it is only 20% - 25% higher. Here it is cold and wet 9 months out of the year, instead of hot and dusty. Take your pick. Oh, and Portland is also gay friendly. LOL!
