Holy smokes.  That is absolutely ridiculous.  You combine that with ballot harvesting and you have a recipe for rigging an election.  Banana Republic stuff.

I'd really like to know how many mail-in ballots don't have a postmark and how many have an X "signature."
There are a bunch of videos showing homeless people being given money, supplies or gifts in exchange for voting for Bass. Maybe that's part of the feds investigation into CA? Newscum seems to think he's going to block the feds from access to ballots/voter rolls. Hopefully the feds pursue this rigorously and get a real conclusion, not some half assed bullshit.

How many is a bunch? I found a few videos of homeless people saying they were or they knew other people who were paid to register to vote.

There are some requirements involved. If you have a driver’s license or state identification, you can easily register at registertovote.ca.gov. You cannot use a P.O. Box or business address to register to vote, but you can use a P.O. Box or business address to receive mail.

They could use same day registration but even this requires them to go through some hoops that I suspect most homeless people would not follow through on doing. I could be wrong. Paying anyone to register to vote is not right but it also does not guarantee that they vote or for whom they vote.

The good folks on Skid row stated they come about 3 days a week to sign different names on the ballots and get paid 2-4 dollars

It’s not “smack” it's the truth. While your wife was dying you were out sucking another man’s cock by your own admission. People should know who they’re dealing with and you are a deviant degenerate who shouldn’t be trusted. The dementia is setting in, a major characteristic of dementia is hostility and you’re becoming more and more hostile as you age. Good riddance!

It is smack, plus it is a lie. Post that admission.

I am less hostile today than I was many years ago.

It is dumb to trust people you don't actually know.

@guypbenson

Good afternoon. An estimated 58,000 statewide votes have still not been counted from California’s primary elections, which took place on June 2.

Why do democrats protect criminals??

California is considering legislation that allows certain low-level theft offenses to be treated as “crimes of necessity,” potentially dismissing charges when acts are driven by poverty or urgent need.

Overview of the Legislation
Recent legislative efforts in California, such as Assembly Bill 2108 (AB2108), aim to expand diversion programs for low-level retail theft offenses, allowing charges to be dismissed if defendants complete court-approved treatment or rehabilitation programs. Supporters argue this addresses the root causes of theft, particularly when driven by poverty, while opponents warn it could undermine accountability for repeat offenders and weaken voter-approved measures like Proposition 36.
Another related bill, Senate Bill 1266 (SB1266), focuses on theft involving copper and other materials, adjusting how the value of stolen property is calculated for grand theft purposes. While not explicitly a “necessity” bill, it reflects California’s broader legislative approach to theft and property crimes.

Legal Basis: Necessity Defense
Under California law, the necessity defense allows a defendant to avoid criminal liability if they acted to prevent a significant harm and had no legal alternative. Key elements include acting in an emergency, believing the act was necessary, and ensuring the act did not create a greater danger than the one avoided. Economic necessity, such as theft driven by poverty, can qualify under this doctrine if the defendant lacked other legal options.
The prosecution bears the burden of disproving the necessity defense beyond a reasonable doubt, meaning defendants do not have to prove it; rather, the state must show the act was not justified under the circumstances.

Public Debate
The bills have sparked debate among lawmakers, law enforcement, and public safety advocates. Critics, including Republican Assemblyman Carl DeMaio, argue that some thefts under these bills involve luxury items rather than essential needs, potentially encouraging criminal behavior.
Supporters emphasize early intervention and rehabilitation, aiming to prevent repeat offenses and address systemic poverty as a driver of crime.

Current Status
AB2108: Passed the Assembly and is pending in the Senate Appropriations Committee as of mid-2026.
SB1266: Amended and held in committee as of August 13, 2026, with provisions affecting theft valuation and aggregation for critical infrastructure.

Implications
If enacted, these measures could:

Expand diversion opportunities for low-level theft offenders.
Recognize economic necessity as a mitigating factor in criminal liability.
Require careful judicial discretion to balance public safety with rehabilitation.
Potentially affect repeat offender accountability and state fiscal responsibilities due to expanded diversion programs.

In summary, California’s “crimes of necessity” legislative efforts reflect a shift toward considering the social and economic context of low-level theft, integrating traditional necessity defenses with modern diversion programs to reduce recidivism while maintaining public safety.

Good grief.  They haven't learned their lesson from decriminalizing shoplifting.

Now we can only buy CA approved tires ???

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/californias-new-tire-rule-could-wipe-out-70-of-whats-on-the-shelf-and-sacramento-sat-on-the-law-for-23-years/ar-AA2anJ4G?ocid=BingNewsSerp

Kind of random, but I just installed a new shower head and it came with a "flow restrictor."  The instructions said I should install the flow restrictor if I live in California.  WTF.  But I guess this is the same state that wants to ban plastic straws.  lol

I had a bathroom remodeled a couple years ago, all the faucets came with flow restrictors, the little brown fellas told me they can't remove them because they can get in trouble. They were kind enough to show me where and how to remove them though. LOL
