I had a few very serious medical complications plus a 5 year layoff where I did nothing but sit around eating junk food......could only do a shaky 5 pushups when I started back.

No one`s gonna` look great in a year after going to pot over a 5 year time period......no one,not even Bhanky. 

Plus I`m a lot closer to 70 than I am to 65.....gains come much slower as you age, but no excuses ,just the  reasons listed below.

Colitus..... lost 40 pounds and almost  died....I`m not a very big guy that can afford to lose 40 pounds.

COPD

Lung Cancer now in remission

Bad Elbow for months and it`s still bothering me.

Polyp/growth on Gall Bladder which caused me to cease all training until the situation was rectified,and it still isn`t......before that I bet I was using better poundagess than you on most exercises (85 pound incline DB Presses and Flyes with the 65`s for 3 X 12 all done drug free) and I was starting to look really good again.

Recently fell on ice and broke a rib.

I know the COPD and lung Cancer was self induced but that changes nothing.
