Not a fan either but it’s a good reference point as he is lifting about what I am lifting he has me my 6lbs but I may go for 160 at the meet. Of course I threw up battery acid this morning but I am ain’t got time for that this week

Not true it is within the normal range anything under 100 is considered normal and you are just going to ignore I don’t have high blood pressure at all

Your BP is OK now. But usually athletes have resting HR in the lower range. It's an indication of health. A high resting heart rate, even if it isn't above 100, seems unusual.

It isn't like once your resting HR goes from 101 to 98 you're all of a sudden so much healthier.

Mine is usually 56 - 62.  BP is usually about 110/70

Then again, I am not able to throw up battery acid so I am just a loser.

I never intended to squat competitively. I have bone on bone in both knees are you kidding? It’s a miracle I can squat at all. You have no idea how much pain I went through to be able to squat. Also last I checked nothing has fizzled out squats are part of my normal workout routine now.

Again - why are you barbell squatting at all at 40+ years old with your issues?   Its stupid and plainly ego driven.  There are a million better variations and alternatives which were told to you, but in your delusional insanity when it comes to training, you ignore it.

Strict-Curl goes way back, Odd-Lift days.
The USAWA literally has tons of lifts that date back to the Oldetime Strongman days.

Their meets are lots of fun...

Many that post here dont know the history of the irongame. And the ones that do just like to break your balls.
I have tons of books that date back to 1800's (Sandow book, Saxon Bros, Hack, etc).

The odd-lifts are the foundation of the iron-game (and evolved into other things), from weightlifting, to powerlifting, Strongman and so on...

The only reason you are entering the curling contest. Is because you failed your 405 squat attempt. For months you fought  everyone that said you couldn’t squat 405.

You said you could without an issues you are ordering knee sleeves etc. etc.

You quickly realized you couldn’t do. So now you have moved on to a curling contest and how great curling is.
 
It’s like a child who tries out for the football team gets absolutely embarrassed in football and then says oh I don’t like football anymore. I like basketball.
