I warmed up before this at 135X8, 185X8, 225X6, 275X3, and then did 335x1 and then dropped all the way back down to 225lbs and did 3 more sets 6-8 reps. Then did 3 sets of 25 rep leg extensions. It is not like I did one rep at 335lbs and then went home.

How is that my max? I didn’t hit failure. I will add more next week. Again I anticipate my max to be closer to 405. I am adding weight each week to test the knees so far so good.

Ya I figured you did multiple sets. I'm just talking about your squat depth. Doing deep squats activates and builds your posterior chain better. It's probably actually better for knees too

Yes, clever use of the camera angle by bhank but that is not close to parallel.  Can't fool Hulkotron so easily.

Still a decent lift, I know everyone on getbig is 250 lbs of twisted steel but 315+ lb squat even if a bit high is pretty good for most people.

The emphatic slamming of the 10-lb plate is the best part of the vid :D

Everyone has to know BHank isn't using any of those fake plates.

If I were BHank, I wouldn't start looking at #405 till late summer, early fall. Not saying it to be mean. Depth wasn't there, and he had newborn fawn legs. He's going to get hurt running up the numbers.

Your fucking back buckled with 335....now imagine 70 more pounds on the bar.....you have no clue dude.

If you can eke out one rep with 340 next week that will be your stucking point for quite some time just wait and see.....and that all depends on if you even get the rep.

I'm on record that with his knee history he should not be squatting anything let alone 405.  His determination though is inspiring if not all that wise and I predict we'll see a 405lb squat video in the next 3 months.  In my humble opinion he needs to park his ass on a hack squat machine and bust out higher rep sets.  Also, should be doing his extensions first to warm the knee's and surrounding areas as well as pre-exhausting so he's not tempted or capable of very heavy squats/hacks.

Problem is, there are guys on here who can bench press that weight for 10 reps deeper than he can squat it.

So I checked your comeback journal from 2015 and you maxed out at 135lbs on incline press? Care to comment? How weak? Real Weak and who does a set on bench with 65lbs? A fucking ELF that is who carry on

Some of my best lifts double bodyweight bench press....300 pounds at 150 bdwt.

405 deep squat at 160-165 pounds bdwt....315 for 4 sets of 10 and 2 sets of 8 all below paralell....370 for a triple.

DB Inclines-----100 pounders for 5 reps cleaning them myself all the while falling back on the bench hoping I land correctly.....at 160 bdwt......40 pounds more than I weighed.

DB Rows- 5 X -10 -12 reps with the 100 pounders

Seated Alt, DB Curls-75 pounders with a slight cheat to get the weight started then a super slow negative,,,,5 reps at 165 bdwt.

Barbell Curls-150 for 5 reps while weighing 150....very slight cheat....extra slow negative

Skullcrushers- top weight was 140-8 reps at 160 bdwt.

Chinups a few sets of 20 anytime wide grip,dead hang,chest to bar

Not incedible,but very credible for my size.

I could go on but fuck yourself bitch.

All I know is you benched 65lbs and 135lbs in your most recent reports from 7 years ago are you stronger now? I spotted a 50 year old 145lb woman who got 8 reps with the 75lbs dumbells but she was one of the strongest people I have ever met pound for pound. Seems like you have been coming back for almost a decade. You still planning to be in shape by August? When will you actually be back? I can't remember are you 70 or 80 years old now? Didn't you say you were going to start a cycle this week? How is that going?
