PUNISHER/SLAPPER, I forgert the details and the amounts involved, but didn’t Cameron give up all or a part of his potential AVATAR ‘paycheck’ in order to finish the movie …. as the studio was ready to give up on it due to it’s financial over-run?
I was on that set one day and it was amazing what the studio looked like before the FX crew got involved once the film went into production.
Camera is a film maker way ahead of his time…. and I won’t be surprised if he is the first to produce a movie with VR somehow involved.
Also not positive about this either but I have heard that the is in production with AVATAR II which has a lot of underwater scenes. I read that a while back on some movie fan website.
He has also been deeply involved in the Titanic exploration as all movie fans know damn well.
