you know, i competed in the Canadians before he won, (1991) and many times after he won, (last time at nationals was 2007) but i don't think i competed the same year(s) he did. when i was younger i think my physique was very similar to his. but i think he won as a lightheavy, and i was usually superheavy.

yep, he was the light-heavy champ, and he should have stayed there, coz he lost his lines after he went up in weight

in retrospect i may have been a little more succesful at a lighter weight. at 5' 9.5'' i usually weighed in between 226-239
