I hope you realize that I was not judging him as a person in my earlier post. I was simply making an observation about his appearance. Over the course of my many years on this planet, I have known many people who are not conventionally attractive and who are still beautiful people.

The situation would differ when more men looked like him; it would be normal. From my point of view, Russia is full of ugly men and nice looking women, so the women over there would prob put more focus on other qualities, compared with Western women. My conversations with a Russian woman seem to confirm this.
