Russia has a lot of people of wealth associated with their oil.Those people like the Arabs associated with oil live like kings. You have to judge the wealth of a nation on how the average guy lives. Back to the pictures and leave the debate if Russia is a hell hole on a different thread.
Regarding Russia I loved Ronald Reagan but he made a big mistake with them. When Russia realized the threat the crazy Muslims were going to be in Afghanistan they attacked. We supplied those camel jockeys with stinger missiles to take down Russian aircraft that they used very effectively. Fast forward to today we are in Afghanistan and the Russians are laughing their ass off saying we told you those terrorist were a problem there.
wow are you bending history......The soviets attacked not due to their knowing that the muslims were a threat..they attacked because the government was weak and it was a naked land grab...they wanted to spread communist ideology....
