Actually, quite the majority of women know this term is said in jest and reply in a similar fashion whether it is a "I can't wait" or a "we'll see about that" tone. Sure, sometimes a woman wants a romantic tryst but more times than not they want to be dominated in bed with the end result being them out of breath, hair a mess and their upper torso hanging off the bed with their equilibrium jacked up.
You need to understand the differences. That 'love making' term is more a political correct -and typical American- one for passionate sex, while the term 'banging' refers to 'fucking a woman hard'. This may sound disrespectful towards women, but many women -esp the young and adventurous ones- love to be dominated this way. I agree that the term 'destroying' is a bit disturbed sounding one.
