What about "worthy" and "crime," did you trace their etymology as well? If not, why not? They don't appear in the verse literally, either. It was an obvious paraphrase, happens all the time, which leaves you with no point at all.
You're just playing games, Prime, c'mon. If you think the bible is ok with homosexuality, then find something more useful to defend it. This is semantical nonsense.
Paraphrase, not a quote.
I don't think the bible is okay with homosexuality. I also don't think a lot of people today agree with Leviticus' comands.
Here are some other quotes from Leviticus:
20:9 For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.
20:10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
20:14 If a man takes a woman and her mother also, it is depravity;
he and they shall be burned with fire, that there may be no depravity among you.
20:15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
20:18 If a man lies with a woman during her menstrual period and uncovers her nakedness, he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood. Both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
Do you honestly the creator of this sign meant it as a paraphrase? I don't.
