Negative sir regarding the parachute. That pack is too small and too low on his back. Plus BASE jumpers hold their deployment chute in their hand, they do not pull a "ripcord." Also he's simply too low to deploy a chute- he's only 300-350 feet off the ground. Oh he will die if he falls but that's just too low for any chute to open- in my opinion.

I pushed off about three seconds after that bottom picture was taken.
