he turned pro after the 1977 mr. international.  turning pro then was a decision, no qualifying.  kept his ifbb card thru the years. certain shows are 'open' available to any active pro.  Jocelyn would do the night of champions each year, and apparently a few other shows.  and yes, he usually had his watch on onstage :D
