Calves. They’re pretty “-aj- esque” but I haven’t really thought of exercising them. What should eye do?

Bodyweight calve raises work up to sets of 150-200 and do 1 set every other day. Doing calves this way gave me the best results between size, shape and vascularity.

I never had big calves but they were serviceable back in the day when I would squat. I never really worked them and just figured walking around at 240 pounds they would naturally stay the same size but they didn’t. About 5 years ago or so I was going to a trainer and he’d have me jump rope and stuff like that and I noticed they were a bit bigger. I’ve been riding a Peleton for the past two years and it hasn’t done shit for calves but it has kept my upper quads in shape so that’s one positive. I end up wearing Magnum PI style daisy dukes to the beach just so it doesn’t look like I’m a paraplegic. I may take you up on your advice.

Day 1: heavy sets (dumbbells in hand.. whatever..)
Day 2: light sets (even bodyweight on 1 foot - or 2 - while you shower)
Day 3: off
repeat

Don't overdo it in the first week (seeing as you haven't trained them in a while) or you won't be able to walk properly for 2-3 days.
