I recall years back Denis Phoenix who was the Mr Wales and competed in the Universe saying to eat a specific number of baked potatoes per 25lb pdf bodyweight over a certain period of time to carb up. At the time you just believed it but looking back its pure bioscience. Why not per 20lb of bodyweight- what type of potatoes- why??? Genuinely never used to question anything the gym owner told you!

Hahahaha... exactly like me, its little annoying things, the most annoying thing aboput the toilet situation is I told the new owner that the toilet was blocked and there was 8 empty tubes with no paper.
He went in the toilets to check on it
I went in 5 mins later, the toilet was still blocked and he had just thrown away 4 of the rolls that were on the cistern and left the other 4 on the floor

Just got back
Didnt make top six, great line up, got in the second call out, maybe 7th 8th place , will find out, I know who the head judge is so I will be able to find out next week

No Universe invite this year, could qualify at the England show later in the year but I think I will have some time off.
My back was playing up all day, no spasams but had to be careful going through compulsory poses
No excuses they were all top notch competitors, 16 in the class, it was the biggest class of the day

Thanks for all the positive feedback leading up to this show chaps
Will have a bit of a break from training for a week then start back at the new gym
