Had another Fairlife today and all I thought about the entire time (5 seconds of chugging it) were the microplastics. I’ll be lucky to be alive on Memorial Day. God bless all of you.

Dude the plastics and such are terrible for you.

I’ll finish telling you all about it after I get done pinning a ML of China bathtub tren, while guzzling breast cancer medication to help me not grow tits. Getbig health priorities are different.

Not micro-plastics in Fairlife. A shitload of pthalates.

Oh thank God. The term pthalates sounds healthier. I will double my Fairlife intake starting tomorrow.

Mister Wiggs get yourself some old man protein.

Does that mean it's perfect for me, as I just turned 51?  ;D

Actually, I've used it before, especially since there is a local store where I can get a 4-pack of those shakes for $2.72. The taste is fairly good and it's the rough protein equivalent of a quart of milk at about a third of the volume.

The Atkins PLUS ones are great, too. I also get those (4-pack) for $2.52 from the same store.

Every company that sells almost anything these days has just gotten too freaking greedy.

I can afford to buy a lot of things that I no longer buy because of the greedy corporations involved.

If more people did that, they`d be forced to lower prices back to a more normal range.

"They" say it's hard to make a profit from protein powders nowadays, so it may not be greed exactly. You can buy the pure proteins that are used in the tubs, cheaper, from like Dante Doggcrapp etc, but most don't mind paying more for excellent taste.

Im not happy about that but I wouldn’t use a cheap protein and risk the stomach discomfort that comes with cheap blends. I was shocked to see the price jump from $40 to $70.

What do you think is causing the stomach problems in cheap blends?

I can hardly tolerate ANY type of whey nowadays, like even unflavored pure whey bought at the pharmacy.

The Peptopro casein hydrolysate is better but I just can't get into the taste of most proteins nowadays.

I think the microplastics are starting to turn me gay! Should I be concerned?

Depends - how do you feel when you look at frogs..?

That'll take you up around 9000 nano-grams (9mcg) there soldier - go easy...

use slickdeals.net to set up an alert for myprotein.com

Recently scored 11lbs of why for 60 bucks.  Independently tested too.
I've been asking myself why, for years now.

Forget all the powders. I've tried too many including isopure.  Go to Costco or BJ's and get Fairlife pre made protein bottles. 30 grams of protein of amazing tasting protein. Made by the company that makes lactose free milk products. Seriously there is no comparison to any fart powder. So many of these fart powders are sourced from the same middle man then they claim theirs is better than the competitor when it's the same crap.

I'm severely lactose intolerant. Protein powders aren't regulated and so I judged if they had lactose by the stomach upset I get. I think some lie about being lactose free.  Fairlife protein has zero point zero stomach upset. It truly tastes like a gourmet milkshake. It's criminal that protein powders all claim to taste great when they taste like licking dead worms in your back yard and I won't mention the mixing problems if you don't use a blender.

Don't buy Fairlife off Amazon or another place because the prices are off the charts. The stuff is getting so popular that more than once I see gym owners and others going to BJ's to buy pallets of the stuff to sell at rip off prices in their gyms for a single bottle or putting it online at rip off prices.
No thanks!

And some products found to have high levels of phthalates are staples in many American pantries, such as General Mills' Original Cheerios, Del Monte sliced peaches, Chicken of the Sea pink salmon, Fairlife Core Power high-protein chocolate milkshakes and Yoplait Original French vanilla low-fat yogurt.

isnt that what isolate is for? it's more easily digested and no lactose

it's like 50% more expensive though

Yes and it's not worth the extra cost if you can tolerate concentrate imo.

I have the same problems with isolate. It's probably that I'm allergic to whey itself, not the lactose as I can drink milk no problem.

The hydrolysate are further processed. Fairing had a great hydro but he stopped selling it, I assume due to no one buying it.
Peptopro casein hydro seems to be better
for me but also very expensive.
