Pretty lengthy non answer.
So you haven't listened to him, don't know anything about what he believes in or what he's said specifically, but are comfortable calling him a nut job. Maybe his family who doesn't endorse him are nuts? Do you have specifics as to why they don't, or are you just parroting the media?
The guy was an environmental lawyer who did tremendous work getting the Hudson River cleaned up, and based on his work, was hounded by women whose children were injured possibly by contaminated vaccines (not anti vax, mercury and shit) until he couldn't ignore.
Your answer is a microcosm of what's wrong today - passing on thoughts and conclusions without having any real knowledge of what you're talking about.
What makes you think I never listened to RFK Jr. speak? He has been interviewed a fair amount lately. Because he is campaigning for the Presidency, he gets media attention. Someone would have to 'live under a rock' to not have heard him.
Yes, it is possible that his entire family who do not endorse him are nuts, but this is highly unlikely, and you know it is. However, their reasons for not endorsing him are likely somewhat varied.
And of course, you do know what you are talking about even though you've provided no proof that it is accurate. According to what I read, RFK Jr. spearheaded the eventual cleaning up of the Hudson River. The EPA is credited with accomplishing this.
Anti-vaccine activists, some who work for Kennedy’s nonprofit group Children’s Health Defense, sat in the rows behind him, watching as he insisted “I have never been anti-vaxx. I have never told the public to avoid vaccination.” He has also been quoted as saying, “There’s no vaccine that is safe and effective.” Hmm, this seems like something someone who is anti-vaxx would believe and claim. No vaccine is safe and effective. No vaccine? Has he ever considered why we never hear about folks getting smallpox? Or, that polio is all but non-existent?
In your esteemed opinion, do heroin and cocaine long term addictions permanently adversely affect people’s brains and thought processes?
If it looks like a nut and sounds like a nut, it is most likely a little nutty.
