This is somewhat like watching farmers force feed ducks to fatten their livers up for Pâté.    The man making comments is correct.  There is something wrong with these people.  The explosion of bodybuilding shows and the unprecedented rise of "Schmoe & Tell" made it impossible to compete unless you became a living feedbag. 

It isn't worth it, even if all you have is your "physique" for sale to the highest bidder.

I doubt that a lot. He was always breathing heavily just by being seated down, how could he do anything in life? Most likely he wasn't even at rest in his sleep.
