Great question!

Yes, he dieted. But only for 8 weeks to go from out of shape retired bodybuilder and wanna-be actor, to winning the contest.

In contrast to, a guy like mentzer for example, who dieted for a whole year on amphetamines and piss only to regress and drop from 2nd the year before, to 5th place in this show.

To be honest i don't even know what i was thinking with HIT. I was off my face on drugs and just couldn't be fucked to go to the gym. It was easier at the time to just sit back and relax with a nice glass of hot piss but now I realize how fucking stupid i was.
