Ha! What a stupid and obtuse notion.
This, while tragic and shocking is an outlier.
Not that I support it (I dont) but sending the national guard is as much about rampant crime as it is about the flippant, liberal, impotent attitude that condones it by the local government, justice system and leadership of the cities the national guard has been sent to.
This One incident is an outlier in Utah.
So... no. There's no reason to send the nationL guard to Utah.
What an asinine thought.
There really isn't a reason to send the national guard to any city to take over law enforcement. The logical next steps to where that could lead will be the end of democracy. A federal police force would be the end of liberty. And I support law enforcement- for the most part.
I disagree with police chiefs who are clearly DEI picks and any municipalities that enforced the insane covid mandates. And I vehemently disagree with sending in the national guard.
For arguments sake even if they "clean up the streets" , anyone taken into custody will be let go by the same broken justice system that allowed it to be turned into a sithole in the first place. Unless all their custodies are charged federally which is an even bigger problem.
*I really don't know what exactly the national guard is actually doing in D.C., like what are their daily duties? *
