 Over all the Uk has a population of just over 67 million compared to the US of almost 340 million. That being said the UK overall about 0.09% in gun crimes compared to less than 0.01% in the US. Over 95% of our gun crimes (including homicides/murders) happen in democrat ran cities where "gun control" is tightest. This goes for Australia as well. People want to tout how Australia doesn't have guns or gun crimes, that's BS, in comparison it's that of the UK and US. While it's true in 1996 they did a mandatory buy back of 650K, still over 3 million remain....because those people aren't stupid. I know for a fact that home invasions are low in NSW because some people retained their firearms.

I had a very good friend for many years, Father Brian Mullady. He was Dominican Priest (a religious order founded in 1216), he passed away about 6 months ago at the age of 78. He's right up there in the top 3 of the most influential people in my life. From someone who's a theologian, an academic and someone who's has studied all aspects of the Catechism, the Bible, how archaeological findings supports the Bible and its history, etc.
