Fair enough, but I’ll keep doing it my way — I can’t just pick any soundtrack because of copyright issues. I would use 90s eurodance if I could in my videos, it’s my favorite music.

Adding 2 more pics. This shows how I installed the bottom layer of rebar for the suspended slab. At first I used stainless rebar with 15 cm spacing, but then I started doubting because stainless rebar is less rough (meaning it doesn’t bite into concrete as well as regular rebar). So I added glass fiber in between, which makes it now 7.5 cm spacing.

Originally I planned to pour two separate small slabs, in which case the suspended slab would have needed reinforcement only at the bottom. Later I decided to pour a continuous slab over the middle load‑bearing wall, which requires two layers of rebar. The pics also show the ventilation openings and the toilet shaft opening.

Here are three photos from different angles, showing both layers of reinforcement installed. As explained in the previous post, a continuous beam requires double‑layer reinforcement.

The red dot on the threaded rod marks AISI 316 stainless steel, which is acid‑proof and chosen for its durability. I didn’t cut corners on materials — stainless rebar, glass fiber rebar, stainless vent pipes, everything top quality.

This project is not only about building a double‑vault composting toilet, but also about experimenting with reinforcement techniques. And yes, I filmed the ‘outhouse jam session’ too, because such a build deserves both seriousness and humor.

The plan with this channel is to ultimately save Estonia — to turn it into a paradise‑like place that the rest of the world will want to visit, paying big money just to see how well we live. Forums. Mostly eng‑tips forum. That’s where I pick up the tricks. Meanwhile, back home on our local forum I get beaten up badly for my builds — the beancounters are constantly hammering me down into the ground for wasting resources and overkilling. They tell me to go back to school and read books.
